Applications are currently being accepted from eligible training providers with a WorkReady Head Agreement to deliver Qualification Quotas and Qualification Projects for 2017-18.

Eligible training providers can apply to purchase:

Qualification Quotas

An annual submission-based approach to purchase a limited number of qualifications through a specific training provider allocation, giving greater management of the flow of courses and stability in the market.

Qualification Projects

A rolling submission-based approach used to purchase:

  • Top down courses – a limited number of qualifications that the State Government will target to specific cohorts, to achieve transitions to a higher level qualification or employment
  • Bottom up courses – a qualification in response to an identified employer commitment to jobs or qualification/nationally recognised skill set to support upskilling existing workers, in partnership with employers. Bottom up courses do not necessarily need to be listed on the Subsidised Training List (STL).

How to apply

Read the Guidelines for WorkReady Qualifications 2017-18. The guidelines describe:

  • eligibility criteria for applying
  • the new submission-based approach to purchase qualifications
  • priorities and key features that need to be addressed in the application
