We are looking for projects that demonstrate a commitment to:

  • meeting employers’ requirements, by actively engaging with employers or employer representatives, and
  • tailoring skill development and support to the needs of participants so that participants complete the project and transition to employment.

How to apply

Read the Guidelines for WorkReady Jobs First Employment Projects 2017-18. The Guidelines describe the priorities and key features of JFEP that need to be addressed in an application.

Contact a DSD Regional Manager before commencing the application process. Regional Managers will facilitate preliminary checks, verify employer engagement and assist with project design. A checklist is provided below to assist you with this process.

Save your application

The application form can be saved and does not need to be completed all at once.

There is an option to save your application for later at the bottom of the form. An email will be sent to the email address you enter.

A copy of your completed application will be emailed to the address you enter in field 1.7 once it is submitted.

You will be kept informed of the progress of your application through the email address provided in your application.
