Unique Student Identifier

Training providers need to record a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) for all students from 1 January 2015 in order to issue a student with a qualification or statement of attainment and for AVETMISS reporting.

The USI will help to streamline the assessment of course prerequisites and credit transfer through access, with the student's permission, to an online record of student attainment. You may create a USI on behalf of a student if they are unable to do it for themselves.

For more information visit the USI website or call the Skilling Australia Information line on 133 873.
