Learner support services

Access additional support for students with significant barriers to completing training.

Learner Support Services (LSS) provide individualised support to students with complex support needs, assisting them to complete their training and transition to employment.

LSS can assist eligible students with:

  • living, learning and transition issues
  • improving study skills
  • accessing supports available in the community.

Training providers can refer their students, including apprentices and trainees, to a LSS provider. LSS providers will assess case management support needs and determine the next steps to access LSS for students.

For more information about LSS, read the fact sheet.
