Learner Support Services help students address life, learning and other issues, and complete their training and transition to employment.
Learner Support Services provide case management support for students facing complex barriers to training. Training Providers who are identified as having large numbers of students facing complex barriers are provided with additional funding to provide one-on-one support to help students address life, learning and other issues, and complete their training and transition to employment.
Eligible students include:
- those who have not completed school
- sole parents
- women returning to work
- people who are or were subject to the justice system
- Aboriginal people
- people with a disability
- people who are or were under the Guardianship of the Minister.
