Food Science and Technology project

This project will review 4 qualifications and approximately 81 units of competency to ensure all job functions are accurately described, including current knowledge and skill needs.

A focus of this project will be to align units and qualifications with current rigorous regulations on food and beverage product safety.

Food and Beverage Manufacturing – Common Skills project

Working concurrently with the Food Science and Technology and the Wine Operations projects, this project will review 38 cross sector units of competency that apply across multiple qualifications.

These cross sector units will be reviewed to ensure current knowledge and skill requirements are clearly identified and accurately reflect current industry practice.

Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Standards project

This project will review qualifications, units of competency and skill sets in pharmaceutical manufacturing to reflect current skills standards and practices, and ensure all job functions are accurately described.

A focus of this project will be to align the qualifications, units and skill sets to the skills required to apply Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles and procedures.
