Racing project

This project was established after key issues were identified with the application of increased safety measures with horses in the context of the Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing industry.

Draft qualifications, units of competency and skills sets are now available for review. Feedback is being sought on how these draft documents reflect current skills and safety requirements of the racing industry, and whether job functions are accurately described.

The review addresses:

  • 11 qualifications
  • 126 units of competency
  • 41 skill sets

Feedback can be provided to Skills Impact online or by email by 10 November 2017, or if you would prefer to speak to the industry team you can register for a free webinar.
