Pathways to Employment Guidelines

Pathways to Employment is a workforce participation program that assists disengaged jobseekers to identify their vocational goals, connect to support services and transition to further training or a job.

Qualification Certification and Training Declaration

A Qualification Certification and Training Declaration must be completed for all staff and contractors delivering Individual Case Management or Structured Mentoring to participants, before they begin delivery. Email declarations to dsd.fundingagreements@sa.gov.au

Marketing, Promotion and Publicity Instructions

The Guidelines provide direction to Providers in relation to requirements for all advertising and promotion material, including websites and social media; logos, including use and technical specifications; and contract details for media advice and assistance.

Participant Commencement Form

A Participant Commencement Form must be completed and signed by each participant in a Pathways to Employment initiative, before they commence project activities.

Completed forms must be submitted to dsd.fundingagreements@sa.gov.au within the timeframe specified in the EPSA.

 2. During project delivery

Pathway Plan template

The Pathway Plan is developed follow the up-front assessment and documents an individual’s:

  • Career goals and aspirations
  • Pathway outcomes that the Plan is aiming to achieve
  • Barriers to participating in further training and employment
  • Actions, services and other strategies that will be facilitated through the initiative to address these barriers.

Skills and Employment Portal Reporting Instructions

The Portal is an online reporting and information management tool for contracted WorkReady Training and Service Providers. This document provides reporting instructions for the Provider that holds the EPSA (Employment Projects Services Agreement) and relevant Annexure for the administration of the Project.

 3. Completion of project

Participant Exit Form

A Participant Exit Form must be completed and signed by each participant upon their completion or withdrawal from a Pathways to Employment initiative.

Providers are required to enter participant exit information into the Skills and Employment Portal. Hard copies of the exit forms to be sent to: Jeanette.morgan@sa.gov.au

Final Report (Indicative)

The EPSA requires Providers to review Pathways to Employment initiatives upon completion, and document this in a Final Report.

Financial Acquittal Report (Indicative)

The EPSA requires Providers to complete an Acquittal Report for funding received upon completion of a Pathways to Employment initiative.
