You can get specialised services to help with training and finding work from Disability Employment Services (DES).

How it works

Job seekers with disability, injury, or health conditions, and their families and carers can get assistance from DES providers.

You’ll meet with a DES provider who will listen to what you want to do and what you think you are able to do. They will then be able to suggest the best way forward for you to get training and get a job.

When you have a job, DES providers will continue to support you for at least 26 weeks or longer if required.
