These instructions are for mySkillsSA users who are searching for information via the global search.
How to instructions
Step one – Type the details into the search
What can I search? There are 3 main records available within the search, including:
- Training contracts
- Training contract applications (including new training contracts*)
- Registered employers (for training providers and Apprentice Connect Australia Providers)
*A new training contract application refers to the original application provided to the Skills Commission to setup the training contract. It provides the original information submitted by an Apprentice Connect Australia Provider at that point in time. Please refer to the active training contract to find most up-to-date information for a trainee or apprentice.
Type in the details you would like to find related to one of the items listed above.
For example, the learner’s or employer’s name.
Step two – Select the link to open
Once you’ve entered searched, you’ll be re-directed to the search results screen. Search results will display it in the following order:
Training contracts
The training contract record displays information about a learner’s traineeship or apprenticeship. In some instances when you search for a training contract, you may see two listed in the search results. Check the status to find the version that is most relevant.
Training contract applications
A training contract application relates to either a new training contract application or a variation to a training contract. It allows you to see the history of changes that have taken place over the lifecycle of a training contract.
Employers
The employer record relates to an employer registered to employ trainees or apprentices.
