These instructions are for all mySkillsSA users exploring updating their contact details, including their email address.
How to instructions
Step one - Sign in and navigate to your profile
After signing in to mySkillsSA, you will be able to view and make changes to your contact details under ‘My profile’. Simply click on your name in the top right hand corner and select ‘My profile’.
Step two - Make changes
Simply find the information you would like to update and type the updated details into the box provided. If you need to update the first or last name on your profile, contact the South Australian Skills Commission or you can request access.
Need to update your email? Updating your email address will update your username when signing in to mySkillsSA. You will need to type it in twice to make sure it is correct.
Step three - Continue and check your changes
Once you have updated all the boxes you would like changed, click on the ‘Continue’ button. This will take you to a review screen so you can make sure your updates are correct before proceeding.
Step four – Submit
If you’re confident with all the changes you’ve provided, click ‘Submit’.
If you updated your email, when you click submit, a validation link will be sent to the new email address provided. The user will not be able to access mySkillSA until they click on the link and validate their email.
